Mir Unique Solutions is a R&D company which applies the most updated Technology Management principals. It has proved this with the great innovation award it received in 2010. In this contest, Mir Unique Solutions was registered as “the most innovative company of Turkey”. Within the context of Technology management, it carries out active and effective activities like technology improvision activities, road map activities, project management applications, technology transfer and intellectual rights management, know-how sales, activities for university-industry cooperation, encouragement and support mechanisms, innovation management, risk management, enterprise capital and angel investment capital (Brain Drain Campaign) etc.

An effective corporate systematics has been formed for the selection of R&D activities in a way to create value added outputs in a shorter time and it has been developed day by day. The running of this system is both kept under control and accelerated with weekly and regular meetings of Technology Management Board. This meeting is held on certain agenda and discusses all technological and technical agenda of the Mir Unique.

Within the Project Management Regulations, all processes are defined. Thanks to the Project Server (Project management system), SharePoint Portal (management of all processes and communication platform) and Team Centre (PLM system), all corporate processes are effectively continued.

The personnel is encouraged to make academic career and they are made to participate in the more promotive projects thanks to the applied performance system. Promotions taken thanks to this system named as “Entrepreneurship System” are shared with the personnel to motivate them. Hence, more promotive project are canalised to and financial burden on the corporation is diminished.

As it is known, just to develop technologies and products is not enough in this competitive environment. It is obvious that the developed product and/or technologies find value in the hands of customers. Unless this process is planned from the beginning, it will be inevitable for the developed technologies disappear in the death valley before commercialising appears as
other technologies do. To prevent this, feasibility activities are done before the start of or during the project; business models are developed if necessary and even the customer is included in the project depending on the nature of the project. To relalise this, Mir Unique Solutions has founded a director of strategy and business development unit, directly bound to the General Management. This department covered a distance.

This unit carries out activities like market innovation, business model development, market research, corporate identity activities and even technology sales activities. In
this unit, weekly Innovation Meetings are held regularly.

Within the context of institutionalisation activities of 2014, many activities that will enhance personnel motivation besides activities for making the projects more measurable and trackable will be carried out.
